A couple, who were looking for a smaller home after their children had flown the nest, realised their downsizing dreams after discovering the perfect home in the perfect location.
Neil Humphries and his wife, Joanne, both in their 60s decided to make the move to a brand new property because they wanted a home where everything was up to date and maintenance free. After researching and viewing different properties it wasn’t long until they discovered Vicarage Fields in Beckingham.
“We really wanted to have a home in a rural location near to our daughter and as soon as we visited Vicarage Fields, we knew it was the place for us,” said Neil. “The development set out really well so feels really spacious, the homes were competitively priced and their quality are far superior when compared with other properties that we viewed.”
The couple chose a four-bedroom Egerton house type and were particularly attracted to the open plan kitchen with the bifold doors into the garden and the spacious four bedrooms which meant their son, who lives abroad, could visit for long periods of time with ease.
“Buying with Albemarle gave us a really good choice of things like kitchens, tiles and flooring and all were of great quality giving us the finish we wanted in our new home,” said Neil. “We were kept up to date through the customer portal allowing us to see photos as our home progressed and access necessary paperwork throughout our purchasing journey.”
To enhance the local ecology, and in addition to its landscaping plans, Albemarle Homes provided every home with its own established indigenous fruit tree.
“I would definitely recommend Albemarle Homes for their build quality and the team, who have been friendly and supportive through the process. The tree they gifted to us as a moving in present is a great idea, the planting location and instructions are really useful too and we’re looking forward to setting down its roots soon.”
Charlotte Kirk, Head of Sales, Albemarle Homes commented; “So many of our customers choose us for our exceptional build quality and interior finish and this is something which is very important to us. We are so pleased that Neil and his wife are happy in their new home, and we wish them many happy times there.”
Albemarle Homes is also pleased to donate £100 to Doncaster and Bassetlaw teaching Hospitals Charity for every home sold at the development.
